Campus was buzzing with Dragon Pride as ISB proudly hosted its first Dragon Spirit event of the year this past weekend. China Cup Weekend brought together students, families, and staff to celebrate sport, creativity, connection and community.

Volleyball Victories and Tennis Triumphs!

The Girls and Boys volleyball teams celebrated their success, with the girls taking the championship title (3-0!) and the boys taking third in a nail-biting game that went to five sets. With the crowd cheering them on, the teams displayed resilience and strategic play, paving the way for an exciting season ahead. Meanwhile, our tennis team also showcased their skills, securing a third-place finish. Congratulations to our Dragons who all exhibited great teamwork, determination, respect and Dragon Spirit!

Fun Run Brings Everyone Together

On Saturday morning, students, teachers, and parents gathered for our family friendly Dragon Cross Country Fun Run, promoting fitness and camaraderie. Participants of all ages enjoyed the great weather and exciting vibe on campus.

Baseball and Cricket Action

Our baseball team faced off against Daystar in a hard-fought game on Saturday. Their spirits remain high as they look forward to their next match. Meanwhile, the ISB stadium buzzed with energy during a thrilling four-team cricket tournament featuring players from BSB, DCB, WAB, and ISB. Each team was composed of two adults, two teens, and two pre-teens, showcasing impressive catches, stylish bowling, and powerful hitting. The ‘New Zealand Black Shirts’ triumphed, led by ISB’s own, Jamie and Finn.

ISB Community Art Exhibition Shines Bright

The ISB Community Art Exhibition opened its doors on Friday, featuring the incredible work of our talented parents and staff. The exhibition, held in our new ISB Commons, showcased a variety of mediums, from painting to digital art. Attendees enjoyed an evening filled with creativity, inspiration, and the opportunity to mingle with other art enthusiasts.

Farmers' Market: A Community Favorite

The ISB Farmers' Market returned to campus over China Cup weekend, bringing fresh produce and handmade goods to our community. Local farmers and artisans showcased their products, from organic vegetables to homemade jams. Families enjoyed the sustainable goods and tasty food, making it a perfect day out. The market not only supports local businesses but also fosters a sense of responsibility towards sustainability among our community.

Stay Tuned!

As we move further into the fall, there are plenty of exciting events on the horizon. Keep an eye on our school calendar for updates on games, performances, and community gatherings. We welcome the entire ISB community to continue attending our Dragon Spirit events all throughout the school year, celebrate the vibrant spirit of ISB and build strong relationships together!
