ISB won a Duty of Care Award late last week at a ceremony in Australia organized by the International SOS Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the health, safety, and security of workers around the world. According to the foundation, the Duty of Care Awards celebrate organizations and individuals who have achieved exceptional results in fulfilling their duty of care responsibilities, improving people’s welfare, and ultimately helping save lives.

ISB is accredited by prestigious organizations including the Council of International Schools against a comprehensive set of standards including employee and community care, facilities, and campus safety.
Over 1,000 companies applied for a Duty of Care Award this year.
ISB Head of School Daniel Rubenstein said, “ISB is committed to the health, safety, and security of all our employees, students, and families. We seek a diverse pool of highly qualified applicants to serve our students and aim to provide an environment in which teaching professionals can really display their talents. This award is great recognition of our efforts in this area. It’s testament to the tireless work of all departments of the school, including Government Affairs, Human Resources, and Facilities, in providing for our safety and well-being.”
