The International School of Beijing (ISB) ushered in the Chinese New Year of the Snake with celebrations throughout this week, inspired by traditional Chinese festivities and filled with Dragon Spirit. From our lively Temple Fairs, featuring hands-on activities like Paper Cutting and Tang Yuan (Sweet Rice Balls) making, to our annual Chinese New Year Parade, which showcased our school mascot Long Long, ISB Dragons were immersed in the rich cultural heritage of one of our host country's most important holidays. Other highlights included classroom activities such as dumpling making and calligraphy workshops, our Door Decorating contest, and spectacular assemblies and shows featuring engaging performances from our students and staff that truly brought campus and the New Year of the Snake to life.
Watch the video below for a recap of some of our favorite moments and experience the diverse range of ISB's festive activities, showcasing our school's community spirit on this very special occasion.
