Hi! Ni hao! Hola! Salut! The International School of Beijing’s first ever Language Week has highlighted its culturally diverse community and quality languages teaching.
ISB has a popular Dual Language Program in the Elementary School and offers French and Spanish courses in the Middle and High Schools, in addition to Chinese. And with roughly 60 countries and regions represented among ISB’s students, parents, and employees, you will hear plenty of different languages on campus.
From March 4 to 8, Language Week involved student-led activities during lunchtime, special greetings for those arriving on campus every morning, curated cafeteria menus, and more.
It’s all consistent with ISB’s Mission to foster thinkers and leaders empowered to find their place in the world. Click the video link below to hear from teachers and community members how ISB’s languages programs and cultural diversity help students become global citizens, explore their passions, and find challenge and joy in learning.
